When does AskRento launch?
We open the beta in India first, in small batches, starting with founding members. You'll get a WhatsApp message when your access is ready.
Does it work for PGs and hostels?
Yes. Track rent per bed or per room, alongside flats and houses, in the same dashboard.
Will you collect rent from my tenants?
No. Tenants keep paying you by UPI, bank transfer or cash. AskRento records it, sends receipts and reminds people who are late.
Is my data safe?
Your property and tenant details are private to your account. Staff see only what you allow, and loan details stay visible to you alone.
What do you do with my phone number?
We use it to contact you about early access. Survey answers help us understand owners' needs. See the privacy notice below for how we store and use these details.
Your details, with a clear purpose.
We collect your name, email address, Indian WhatsApp number and consent to contact you about AskRento early access. If you choose to answer the owner survey, we also store those answers and any name you provide. We record referral and campaign information to understand how owners find us.
Registrations are stored in our private Google Sheet. Our team primarily manages enquiries from the United States, so team members there may access these details. Our website host and Google process data to operate this registration service. We do not sell your details.
Registration does not create a property-management account. Please do not submit tenant records, identity documents or bank details. When we contact you on WhatsApp, you can reply to withdraw consent, correct your details or ask us to delete your registration. The survey is optional.
